JPLGF is open to foreign nationals as well as to U. S. citizens and legal permanent residents (LPR). JPL requires that the foreign national or LPR be attending a U. S. University. Each student in the program must be registered with his or her local space-grant consortium.
Note that the length of the students' first stay at JPL must be ten weeks or more. The periods which the student may be at JPL are flexible to accomodate the students' academic schedule.
